Desde la colonia que cargo conmigo en otro país: reconocer la mecánica de la percepción como concepto es relevante. Pues, como la historia, es una construcción aún viva, compuesta de verbos que
en algún momento fueron sueños y tal vez muchos que permanecerán como ilusión. Las palabras y los prejuicios con la que se ornamenta la historia son capaces de impactar al más enajenado de su existencia, convirtiéndose en función de poderes que desconocen sustancias y condiciones fuera de su situación. En este estado de subyugaciones, el simbolismo que constituye la arquitectura de la percepción local está atada a la memoria operacional de aquel que mira con inquietud y añoranza a lo material que, se asume, satisface la necesidad. La cuestión se traduce en universos de motivaciones, o esferas de voluntades, dinámicas y esfuerzos transaccionales con el espacio.
La historia, entonces, se manifiesta bajo la corporeización de voluntades y esfuerzos que perseveran más allá del cuerpo, y se expanden a través de generaciones. Al final muchos otros espacios, por necesidad, se terminan convirtiendo en los espacios de la cultura: esta, aquella y la otra. Lugares remotos son espacios de muchas culturas que se funden en comunidad. Los lugares, la percepción del intercambio entre ecosistemas y el cuerpo, el otro, lo conocido y por conocer, son deliberadamente diseñados y emergentes en el ingenio que promueven las palabras. Estas, cuando son articuladas con precisión, logran reconocer y asimilar lo extraño. En algunos casos, cuando se pierde cuidado, las circunstancias y la necesidad de sobrevivir, bajo la mirada del ego, manifiestan por medio de la violencia de la indiferencia la terquedad de la separación. Y entonces sería el fin de esta triangulación: reconocer que el motor de la memoria es el otro y que bajo la opresión ya todos somos iguales.

From the colony that I carry with me in another country: to recognize the mechanics of perception is a relevant endeavour. As history, perception is a living construction composed of verbs that one time were dreams and can also be destined to remain as illusions. History, embellished by words and prejudice, can impact even the most unaware of its existence, turning itself into a function of power that doesn’t recognize substance and conditions out of its situation. In these states of subjugation, symbols that constitute the architecture of perception are tied to the operational memory of those that look with desire those things that, we assume, may satisfy necessity. This matter translates into universes of motivations and spheres of willingness, dynamics, and transactional efforts with space.
History then manifests under the embodiment of wills and efforts that persevere beyond the body and are expanded throughout generations. In the end, other spaces, through necessities, become transformed in spaces of culture, in this, that and those. Remote places become spaces of many cultures that are fused as communities. Places and perceptions of exchange between ecosystems and the body, the other and the knowns and unknowns, are emergent while deliberately designed through the same creativity that promotes those precisely articulated words that enable recognition and assimilation of the strange. In many cases, when we let go of care, these circumstances, under the necessities of survival and within the ego’s gaze, manifest through the violence of indifference the obstinate perseverance of separateness. Finally, it can be the end of this triangulation: to recognise that memory’s motor is the other and that under oppression everyone is equal.
